Research indicates that introducing your brain to fresh experiences can stimulate natural nutrients and potentially help ward off Alzheimer’s. When we were kids, we were naturally active, inquisitive, and fully engaged in exploring our senses. Now, as adults, we sometimes need to put in extra effort to maintain that curiosity.
One of the most exciting finds in Santa Fe is Meow Wolf, an artist collective that engages every sense. Think of it as a hands-on playground suited for all ages. You’re encouraged to open every door, see where it leads, and question everything around you. If you want the full backstory, open the mailbox and read the letter before stepping into the house there’s a mystery to solve while you roam. But even if you just want to wander and snap photos, you’ll have a blast venturing through whimsical passages, including a refrigerator that opens onto a hidden room.
